Knowledge Organisers

We have spent a lot of time producing high quality knowledge organisers for our students. Knowledge organisers provide students with key knowledge linked to their curriculum. This allows students and parents to focus on the threshold concepts that allow students to develop mastery within a subject. They are essential tools, used both in school as well as at home.

What is the routine?

Follow this simple procedure to get your child into an effective revision routine. Just follow the MARS Strategy.

M - Make a Plan
A - Assess your knowledge
R - Review your learning
S - Self-quiz

How do I help my child revise?

You can support the techniques learned in morning mastery at home by encouraging students to self-quiz using their knowledge organisers or revision guides. Students have learned how to select content and write powerful questions that they can use to self-quiz. This helps support acquisitions of new knowledge as well as encoding knowledge into long term memory.
